CONTRACTOR: Personal Finance Guru
General Summary:
Leadfusion, a leading provider of Financial Experience Management solutions is seeking a Personal Finance Guru on a part-time, contract basis with a strong background in consumer personal finance, financial planning or tax planning to work with Leadfusion on the development of new software products and online financial tools for the financial services industry. Our online financial tools are used by consumers on an individual basis to answer their personal financial questions and integrated into the online sales process of financial services companies to help consumer’s select and buy the right financial product.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will work with Leadfusion product management to provide detailed guidance on the development of financial tools and specifically on the development of the inputs, results and algorithms that drive them. Assistance in conceptualizing financial tools that would be helpful within the sales process for financial services is also expected. Knowledge of financial regulations and tax code surrounding savings and investments, mortgages, retirement and college planning will be necessary to be effective in consulting on product development. Programming financial algorithms is not required, however this role will need to build models or algorithms in Excel that will be used by software developers to implement the financial tools in software code.
The Personal Finance Guru must be available on a year-round basis and be able to turn around projects on a reasonably short basis. Daytime availability and the ability to participate in occasional customer conference calls are often necessary, but flexible. Expertise in the fields of retirement and college planning, consumer lending and knowledge of the regulations governing these areas is essential. Working knowledge of personal finance tools, user interfaces and the Internet is preferred. Knowledge of small business finance is a plus.
